Our gratitude begins with a Thank You to the Members of the Board of Peace Village Global, and to Co-Directors, Wintry Whitt-Smith and Elizabeth Wilson.  Wintry and Elizabeth are master teachers who continue to develop the vision and curriculum.  They have been with us since the first day of our first camp in July, 1994.

Peace Village Global and Fields of Peace are funded entirely through the generosity of Friends, with an occasional grant.  To all of our friends, a sincere and ongoing Thank You.

We thank Lisa Gray for her design of this Web Site, and Paloma Ayala Vela for the photo of the child which graces the Home Page and all of our Your Child, My Child, the Enemy’s Child materials.

Thank You Sufi poet Rumi, whose words inspire the Fields of Peace name:

Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing

there is a field.  I’ll meet you there.

When the soul lies down in that grass

the world is too full to talk about.

Ideas, language, even the phrase each other

                              doesn’t make any sense.

Finally, we are grateful to the many individuals, universities, and faith communities who have been participants in Fields of Peace educational programs since its inception in 2007.  In the order of their joining, these are the names of the faith communities:
