Generation Peace

Children as Young Diplomats

Generation Peace introduces a global peace movement inspired and led by children.

This digital gateway invites children to explore diplomacy in their own way—through stories, creativity, and imagination. By sharing their memories, passions, and dreams, they help shape a world built on understanding rather than division.

Every day at Fields of Peace, we listen for the child’s voice, from classrooms, playgrounds, refugee camps, and mountain towns. Generation Peace is a living response to that call, a movement where children act as young diplomats, replacing barriers with understanding and conflict with connection.

Children are encouraged to explore their own rights as part of learning to lead. Every child should learn about their rights and help teach other children—and adults—what those rights mean.

Read the Convention on the Rights of the Child (Children’s Version) to begin this journey.

Your Journey as a Young Diplomat

Connect with peers across borders.

Through three thematic forms—Memories, Passions, and Imagination—they share their experiences, cultures, and dreams for a better world. Each theme represents a step in their diplomatic journey:

Consent and Protection: Children aged 13 or younger must complete the forms with a parent, teacher, or guardian to ensure safety and compliance with ethical standards for youth participation.

Support Children’s Leadership in Peacebuilding

The work of peace belongs to all of us. Adults play a vital supporting role by amplifying children’s voices and creating environments where their leadership can thrive.
